BAE Systems are pleased to offer a three-day taster for years 8 and 9 to have an opportunity to come on site and get an understanding of the Submarine business unit at BAE Systems.
Students will be involved in a number of activities including engineering challenges and talks from senior managers. The students will be assigned a project which they will work through in teams and present their final product. All students involved will receive a certificate in recognition of their participation.
World of Work is a 3-day taster programme for students in Year 8 or 9 to have an opportunity to come onsite and get an understanding of the Submarine Business Unit at BAE Systems. Students will be involved in a number of activities ranging across Engineering, Project Management and more. This will be mixed in with talks from recent apprentices, graduates, and some of our more senior members of staff. We might even have a talk from an Ex-Submariner.
